The Inkster and Goddard Site is a 56-acre, undeveloped site planned for industrial development in the City of Taylor, Michigan. The site is in a strategic location with access to US-24, I94, and I-75 are two, three, and five miles from the site, respectively, and the site is only one mile from Detroit Metro Airport.

In 2023, the site underwent a comprehensive due diligence review through the VIP program, including a detailed site condition analysis, comprehensive information on utility providers and capacity, and a comprehensive report on site details (full report in the document library below).

Topographic Elevation: Elevation of the site ranges between approximately 622 and 631 feet above sea level

Soil Types:

  • Selfridge-Pewamo complex, 0%-2% slopes (±84%)
  • Tedrow loamy fine sand, loamy substratum, 0%-2% slopes (±11.9%)
  • Tedrow loamy fine sand, 0%-2% slopes (±4.1%)

Easements: The east line of a DTE overhead line easement runs north-south on the west side of the property, adjacent to Inkster Road

T&E Species: Based on a review of the EDR NEPA Search Map Report, the following designations may impact the subject site due to their being located on or within the 1-mile search radius or within 1/8 mile of the subject site:

  • MI Wildlife Management Areas (within 1/8 mile, including the subject site)
  • US Endangered Species (within search radius of 1 mile, including the subject site)
  • MI Endangered Species (within search radius of 1 mile, including the subject site)

Archaeological & Cultural Resources: The EDR NEPA Search Map Report did not identify any listings within a one mile radius of the subject site
