Floodplain: Portion of site is within 1% Annual Chance Floodplain, 0.2% annual chance flood hazard, and Ecorse River is a regulatory floodway

Wetlands: Michigan State Wetlands present within East and West Lake, ~57 acres and ~15 acres respectively, north of Wick Road per NWI. Isolated wetland areas are also present adjacent to both the Rosenworth Drain and Ecorse River Drain per NWI. Wetland soils also present on parcels south of Wick Road and surrounding East and West Lakes north of Wick road, per EGLE.

Topographic Elevation: Grades are relatively flat throughout site areas. Grades generally range from 645 to 660 north of Wick Road. Grades generally range from 640 to 645 south of Wick Road. East and West Lake depths are unknown. 

Soil Types:

  • Majority of soil types feature sand to sandy loam. Gravel is present between the 2 quarry lakes.

  • 90’ wide DTE High Tension Corridor with additional 30’ clearing easement on north and south sides.
